Mpok Elin said, kembang goyang cake is made using flour, sugar, eggs and margarine. All these basic ingredients are then stirred using a mixer until blended.
"But remember don't make it too soft or hard as it will be difficult to print. The finished dough is then fried while shaking. After looking yellowish immediately lift and drain," expressed a Betawian woman who has two kids, Monday (8/5).
The process of making this cake itself takes two to three hours. The recipe itself is from her in-laws. In a day, she can produce the cake up to two to four kilograms.

Her homemade cakes are usually sold to culinary stalls in Setu Babakan for Rp 15,000 per pack.
"I also have other customers from Pamulang," she told.
